Adios Amigos!

The students and I enjoyed a wonderful last day together!  After reading and finishing our Very Hungry Kindergartner books, partners raced wrapping each other in toilet paper cocoons and then we burst open as first grade butterflies!  

I am so proud of each and every one of the students, and will miss them terribly!  Wishing all of my students and families a safe, relaxing summer together...

Congratulations Graduates!

It's official!  The Kindergarten class of 2013 received their diplomas today.  It's hard to believe that they are already on their way to first grade.  Thank-you to every parent and family who have helped the students reach this great achievement.  Before you know it, we will be celebrating our Kindergartners again at the high school graduation of 2025!

Bubbling with Joy!

What a better way to celebrate the end of a wonderful school year than by blowing bubbles?  We couldn't think of a more perfect way to spend our afternoon either, so that is exactly what we did...

Sudsy Sight Words

The students absolutely loved lathering up as we wrote sight words in shaving cream this week!  Of course, our classroom did smell like a Barber Shop for the rest of the day, but we made some extra special memories :)

We Scream for Ice Cream!

After a long day packing up our centers and tidying our room for the end of the year, we rewarded ourselves with a tasty, frozen treat.   As we put on our imaginary chef hats, we simultaneously acted as scientists, turning milk, salt, sugar, and vanilla into ice cream!  We enjoyed our ice cream (or in some cases ‘milkshakes’) in a bag as the perfect end to a hot, sunny Friday!
